Yankee self-sufficiency is a proud tradition in the North Country. It means never giving up; doing whatever it takes to survive and finding a way.

It also means helping your neighbors. Neighbors are part of the family and you never leave a family member in need. What helps one, helps us all.

And that is what HFECM and the Payson Mansion Fund are all about. We are attempting to save an important piece of our history and provide essential services to our neighbors.

And we want to do all this while reducing taxes – because our little disagreement with the British over taxes is part of our heritage.

Most importantly, if we can prove that this concept works here in Bath, it can be replicated elsewhere – Like your town.
